
Our last lucky day 2 punch out winner was Coach Shane Stanfill!
Coach Stanfill graduated from Seminole High School in 1999 and joined the military shortly thereafter. After graduating from East Central University in 2009, he started his teaching career. He and his family moved back to Seminole to teach at his alma mater a few years later and has been here at the High School for the last 6 years. Coach Stanfill has taught several history courses prior to moving to the science hall last year and is currently teaching Biology, Anatomy and Physiology. In addition, Coach Stanfill coaches football, basketball and is currently the head coach of the high school girls track team. Coach Stanfill’s passion for teaching and coaching does not go unnoticed, the love he has for his job is undeniable. In his spare time, Coach Stanfill enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter and two sons. SHS is honored to have Coach Stanfill and his family as a part of the Chieftain Family!

Mrs. Lori Roberts is another of our lucky day 2 winners!!
Lori has been with Seminole Public Schools since 2017, teaching first at Northwood and then moving to the high school self-contained room in 2018 and is currently teaching both middle and high school students. Lori has been teaching in Special Education for a total of 5 years. This year, Mrs. Roberts celebrated her 26th year of marriage! Her and her husband have 2 adult children and a menagerie of animals including: 2 German Shepherds, 4 cats, 2 hedgehogs and 1 ball python. SHS is proud to have Lori as a part of our Chieftain Family!!

Another lucky day 2 winner was Linda Bristow!
Linda started working for Seminole Schools since August 2019 and is currently the head custodian at Seminole High School. Linda has an affinity for cleanliness and takes a lot of pride in her job which shows through the SHS halls! Her love for the staff and students is definitely returned as we are proud to have her as part of the Chieftain Team!

Our 2nd day 2 punch out winner was Coach ShawnSnyder!
Coach Snyder has spent his entire 25 year teaching career here at his alma mater Seminole High School, starting in 1996! In addition to teaching subjects like Geography, Government, American History and World History, Coach Snyder coaches both HS football and HS baseball for the Chieftains. Sean has lived his whole life in Seminole and is currently raising his daughter, a Senior at SHS, and his 8th grade son as Seminole Chieftains. Coach Snyder’s favorite thing about teaching in Seminole is being about to help people grow into their best selves as they have helped him in the same way. He enjoys working with his father, Coach Mike Snyder, and loves being able to wake up every day loving his job and the community around him. SHS is proud to have Coach Sean Snyder as a part of the Chieftain Team!

Our first lucky day 2 winner was Coach Thomas Bare!
Coach Bare has been teaching for a total of 13 years, spending time in Cyril and Wewoka before joining the Chieftain Team 3 years ago here at the High School! When Coach Bare isn’t teaching subjects like Oklahoma History, he’s busy coaching HS Football, JH Basketball, JH Baseball and JH Football! Thomas enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters, hunting and watching college football, especially his favorite team, OU (Boomer Sooner!!). Coach Bare’s favorite thing about being at Seminole is the family bond the Chieftain Team has and how friendly everyone is. SHS is so proud to have Coach Thomas Bare as a part of our family!

Mrs. Brenda Presley was our final lucky winner today!
Brenda spent her first 12 years with Seminole Public Schools at the Middle School teaching reading, English and science before obtaining her Master’s of education degree in Library Media. She has spent the last 15 years as the Library Media Specialist at Seminole High School. Mrs. Presley loves her job at the high school and most of all she loves our students! This Chieftain family is proud to have Mrs. Presley!

Mr. Casady Fletcher is another lucky winner today!
Casady is a first-year computer teacher this year with Seminole High School. Prior to this year, Mr. Fletcher was working with Blockchain Technology. As a lifelong Chieftain that graduated from SPS in 2008, Casady feels there are few things more rewarding than giving back to the school system that afforded him so many opportunities. Casady attended OBU after high school receiving his bachelor’s degree in Business Finance in 2012.


Mrs. Colleen Schelb also is one of our lucky Monday winners!
Colleen has been teaching since 1989! After teaching one year at Shawnee High School, Mrs. Schelb joined the team at SHS from 1990-1999. She took a break from teaching full time from 1999-2005, working as a Medical Lab Tech, but returned to SHS in 2005 and has been with us ever since! Mrs. Schelb has taught a slew of Science classes from Biology to Chemistry and Astronomy to Meteorology! Some of her hobbies include reading, being a nerd and of course spending time with her two sons and her pets, Pumpkin, Moses, Peaches and Squirty.
Mrs. Schelb won a gift certificate and t-shirt to Stream of Grace Boutique and a gift card from Seminole Auto Sales!


Another lucky punch out winner is Mrs. Randi Gower!
Randi has been the Principal and Attendance Secretary for Seminole High School for 8 years! Mrs. Gower keeps this school running most days and is a pro at multitasking! Randi has one daughter, Hana, who is currently a cheerleader at Seminole High School.

Krista has been Seminole’s Speech, Drama and Debate teacher for 21 years! Mrs. Clark has spent her entire teaching career at SHS! Krista has two children and two grandchildren and is a beloved member of our team.

Today, SHS started the staff Christmas gift punch out game! Each day, our principal Mr. Rigney, will draw 5 names from the hat. Those staff members will then get to “punch out” their gift from several different mystery gift boxes. A special thank you to many businesses and individuals in town who donated items and gift cards for our staff members to win. We will be posting information about the daily winners and the prizes they were gifted each day until Christmas Break! Please join us in showing appreciation for our teachers and staff who work so hard every day for our students!

Traditional students will take semester tests on the 15th & 16th
Distance Learners will take semester tests on the 17th & 18th
Distance Learners will come to school on those days and take the tests in person.

The letter jacket representative will be on campus during the lunch periods on Thursday the 22nd!! Any 10th grader and above that is interested may see him during their lunch period. You must make a $100 deposit to order with him that day.

The SHS Academic Bowl Team competed in the District Seeding Tournament on October 12 at Holland Hall in Tulsa, winning two out of three games. Congratulations on a job well done Jurnee Catron, Carson Dean, Beckham Schell, Jaxon Smith and Coach Cat Pollock!
