SHS Weekly Events!
Tomorrow morning, on our first day at the highschool, another first happens. The last first day for our Class of 2024 and a little thing we like to call Senior Sunrise. Right before sunrise, our seniors will gather in front of the highschool. They will wear their comfy clothes and their senior crowns. They will bring their letters to their future selves, that we keep safe until senior sunset. Lastly, they write their hopes and dreams for their year on biodegradable balloon and as the sun rises they send them up into sky. We are so excited for the Class of 2024 as they start their senior journey when the sunrises in the morning. See you then seniors!
Seminole FFA and Seminole High School would like to recognize one of our very own. Payton Irick was named in the top 4 of her proficiency award category and will compete to find out her final results at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis in November. Proficiency awards recognize students with strong SAE projects. Once again, CONGRATULATIONS!
Important Announcement! Incoming freshmen, make plans to be at back-to-school night at 4:00 on August 8. Freshmen orientation will be in the gymnasium at that time.

We have been in contact with the National Weather Service. They have said that Seminole will be clear from precipitation from the hours of 6 to 10 pm. We will continue with our plans to hold our graduation ceremony at Chieftain Stadium.
