SHS celebrated the 2023 Basketball Homecoming, Friday, January 27th where Wyatt Dice and Holli Ladd were crowned our 2023 Homecoming King and Queen! Our Student Council worked hard for the past 2 weeks to put together a Chieftain Storybook and the gym was decked out for our festivities! The junior class won the hall decorating competition with their "Star Wars" themed hallway and Mrs. Elledge's class won the door decoration competition with their "Tangled" theme door decor.
In basketball action for the evening, the Lady Chiefs dropped the game against Okemah 37-67. The Chieftains came away with a victory 64-53 against the Okemah Panthers.
Both the Lady Chiefs and Chiefs are getting ready for post-season basketball which will tip-off at Broken Bow vs Broken Bow on Saturday, February 18.
