NATIVE AMERICAN EDUCATION
BOARD OF EDUCATION
The Seminole Public School District offers learning opportunities from Pre-K through the 12th Grade and is comprised of 1 Early Childhood Center, 2 Elementary Schools, 1 Middle School, 1 Alternative Academy, and 1 High School.
Seminole Public Schools realizes the role that technology will play in our mission to help all students develop their capacities to the highest degree possible, to the end that each may become an effective member of society. Technology is a steady flow that changes very rapidly and even though it may put a burden on our budget, the administration believe that it is a necessity of maintaining technological assets as a high priority. We also strive to utilize new technology to improve our services and enhance the educational experience of our students.
One of the primary goals of this plan is to have a one-to-one initiative, providing our middle and high school students with a mobile device (tablet or laptop) during instruction classes. We also strive to have a mobile cart in each classroom for our 6th graders to get them use to using the devices during school. We also want to setup school email addresses for our middle and high school students for use with the Google for Education.

The vision of Seminole Public Schools technology department is to create an educational environment where the use of technology tools is as common as using books and pens. We strive to increase the knowledge of using these tools for teachers so that their job becomes much simpler and more efficient. We envision a future where students will have the technology tools needed to meet the academic goals set before them. A future where teachers are equipped with new software and hardware, have training and resources required to accomplish their curricular goals.
The mission of Seminole Public Schools is to provide a foundation of technology that prepares students to continually learn and function responsibly in a technological society.
