Athletic Department

Welcome to Seminole Chieftain Athletics!

Seminole High School overall has one of the most successful athletic programs in the State of Oklahoma. We continue to produce state champions year after year. Seminole has shaped many All State Players in each and every sport. Seminole High School offers seven different sports for their female athletes: volleyball, basketball, fast pitch and slow pitch softball, track, golf, and tennis. Male athletes may participate in six different sports: football, basketball, baseball, track, tennis, and golf.

Seminole High School is so fortunate to have a staff of outstanding coaches that work extremely hard to keep the tradition rich athletic programs at an exceptionally high level of competitiveness. Our athletes and coaches assume a great deal of pride when wearing the green and white. We have many athletes that continue at the next level and become excellent student athletes in college.

William Jennings Bryan said, "Destiny is not a matter of chance;

it is a matter choice.  It is not something to be waited for; but,

rather something to be achieved.

We stress to our athletes how important it is to be a leader in both our school system and community. We encourage our student athletes to set their goals high and to work extremely hard to attain these goals.

I believe that Seminole Public Schools has one of the finest faculties in the State of Oklahoma. Add this to an outstanding administration plus a professional school board and our students have the environment for success.

I have had the pleasure to coach and teach at Seminole High School for the past 30 years. I am very biased, but I think our student athletes are provided the opportunity to receive one of the most outstanding educations in the State and also be part of an athletic program that is second to none.
